Apple Health can receive steps from more than one place at the same time; your iPhone, any tracker app you've connected (such as Garmin, WHOOP, or Fitbit).
When two sources cover the same period, Apple Health doesn't add them together. It picks one, based on the order of the Data Sources list. The source at the top wins.
So if your iPhone is sitting above your tracker in that list, your steps in GoChallenge can look lower than the numbers on your watch.
Set your preferred tracker
Open the Apple Health app.
Tap on the 'Steps' panel. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap 'Data Sources & Access'.
Scroll past the 'Apps Allowed to Read Data' list until you reach 'Data Sources'.
Tap 'Edit' in the top right.
Touch and hold the handle next to your preferred tracker, then drag it to the top of the list.
Tap Done.

Compare your Steps total in Apple Health with your activity tracker numbers - they should match.
Open GoChallenge and swipe down on the home screen to trigger a fresh sync. The total steps should match what you see in Apple Health.
