Fixing Zero KM Errors on Samsung Devices

Having trouble with your distance showing as zero? Here's what's happening and how to fix it.

Samsung Health is currently not syncing correctly with Health Connect. We recommend switching to Google Fit.

There's a known issue on Samsung's side that's preventing Samsung Health from syncing correctly with Health Connect. This can cause your daily distance to show as zero KM in GoChallenge. This isn't a GoChallenge issue β€” but until Samsung releases a fix, we recommend switching to Google Fit.

The fix: Switch to Google Fit

Google Fit tracks your steps and distance using your phone β€” no smartwatch required.

Step 1: Disconnect your current tracker

  1. Open GoChallenge

  2. Go to Settings > Manage Tracker

  3. Tap the current tracker and select Disconnect Tracker

Step3: Install Google Fit

If Google Fit isn't already on your phone, download it from Google Play first. Allow all permissions when prompted (activity tracking).

Step 2: Connect Google Fit to GoChallenge

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Tracker again

  2. Select Google Fit and follow the prompts to connect

Once connected, your distance will sync correctly and the zero KM error will be resolved.
